The first part of this album contains songs I wrote mostly in 2000 on a Fostex R8 analogue eight track recorder with an Ensoniq EPS 16+ sampling workstation. Back then I already had a strong idea about an album with these songs.

In 2007 I decided to release the music as an album called Kaleidoscopic Surrealism. A title about colors you see and some you don't while they are still there. But this is also an album about dreams.

More than one year later I chose for a double album with additional newer music. And there you go, the album is now called Kaleidoscopic Surrealism and Other Colors.
